Here a number of Crustacea collected by Darwin. The uppermost ones have been dried, the lowermost is put on alcohol. In most cases Darwin preserved this kind of animals in alcohol. This is part of the collection petrified wood sent to England by Darwin. This is also the property of the Natural History Museum in London. It makes clear how many-sided Darwin's collecting was.
