Taeniopteris multinervis.
La Tuilière near Lodève, Lower Permian. Length of the
leaf 11 cm. This species had long parallelsided leaves.
It could be an ancestor of the cycads.

Trichopitys heteromorpha (and the conifer Walchia piniformis).
Length of the branch 11 cm.   This species has Ginkgo-like,
deeply divided leaflets. In the Late Permian Ginkgo-like plants
occurred with certainty. This plant could be an ancester.
The species has been found only in Lodève.
