Landscape during the Jurassic (after Thomas: The evolution of
plants and flowers, 1981)
To the left: conifers. The tall trees left to the front and right are
Araucaria trees.
The Cycas-like plant in the foreground belongs to the Bennetitales
(and is thus not
a real Cycas). Furthermore there are tree ferns and a lot of low staying
ferns.
Along the water grow herbal horsetails.
